The Newtown Rotary Club, founded in 1953, has served the local and international communities for over 50 years. In 2005 Rotary International celebrated its 100th anniversary of serving the world.

The club meets every Wednesday at The Temperance House on State Street in Newtown. Wednesday luncheons are from 12:15 to 1:30 pm. All events are in the meeting room.
